- Decoding Endometrial Cancers:
A Spatial Biology Odyssey in 2D and 3D -
April 27th
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm CDT
Mercat a la Planxa, Chicago
Join us for an evening of insightful discussions and fine dining at the AACR 2025 Dinner Lecture.
This year, we dive into the multi-omic analysis of endometrial-like cancers, leveraging both 2D and 3D spatial biology methods to uncover new insights.
Our keynote speaker, Dr. Sammy Ferri-Borgogno, B.S., M.S., Ph.D., will share groundbreaking research on the tumor microenvironment and its impact on clinical outcomes.

Dr. Sammy Ferri-Borgogno, B.S., M.S., Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in Gynecologic Oncology at MD Anderson, studying immune landscapes and signaling in the ovarian tumor microenvironment.
She earned her MSc in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Turin, where she investigated alpha-enolase in pancreatic cancer, and later integrated -omics and immunology in her PhD research.
Her postdoctoral work focused on epigenetic regulators in pancreatic cancer and stromal-immune interactions in ovarian cancer.
Now, she applies cutting-edge spatial technologies to identify biomarkers linked to chemoresistance as well as new therapeutic targets for ovarian cancer treatment.
